Whether your child is striving for advanced placement, seeking extra support, preparing for the ACT/SAT exam(s), or exploring creative enrichment, our programs are designed to build confidence, long-term success, and academic curiosity. Below is an overview of our current offerings:
Double Accelerated Math Placement Program
Class Size: 8–10 students
This flagship program is designed for high-achieving students aiming to place into their school’s double-accelerated math track. The class focuses exclusively on Math and follows a targeted curriculum built to improve MAP test performance. All students receive our custom-designed materials at no additional cost, carefully structured to reinforce skills required for advanced placement.
Semi-Private MAP Prep (English + Math) and homework help
Class Size: Up to 4 students
This small-group program supports students who need a boost in both Math and English. With a strong focus on MAP testing, students work through structured lessons and personalized practice in a calm, focused environment. We provide all materials at no additional cost, and adjust content to meet each student's current skill level and academic goals. In addition, this class is perfect for students who need consistent school homework help throughout the school year. This class offers direct help with homework in Math (Including AP Calculus and AP Statistics), English, and Science (including Chemistry and Physics for high schoolers) while also including Glenview Tutors’ own supplemental materials to improve classroom performance and get teacher recommendations to be placed into advanced classes at their schools.
Semi-Private Standardized Test Prep (ACT/SAT)
Class Size: Up to 4 students
Designed for high school students preparing for the ACT or SAT, this semi-private class provides personalized support in test-taking strategies, content review, and timed practice. Students receive tailored instruction in Math, Reading, Writing, and Science reasoning (for ACT), along with full-length practice tests and analytical feedback.
Math Olympiad & Creative Problem Solving
Class Size: Up to 4 students
This class is ideal for gifted students or those interested in mathematical exploration. Whether preparing for official Math Olympiad competitions (MOEMS, Kangaroo, etc…) or simply looking to challenge their thinking, students will explore advanced topics and creative strategies to deepen their problem-solving skills.
Chess Class
Class Size: 3-8 students
Students of all levels learn the fundamentals of chess, develop strategic thinking, and compete in friendly games. The class encourages logic, patience, and planning — all skills that support academic growth in other areas.
Art Class
Class Size: 2-5 students
A fun and expressive environment where students explore drawing, painting, and design. Projects are adapted to student interests and skill levels, helping kids build focus, creativity, and confidence.
Private Classes
Class Size: One-on-one
For students and families seeking one-on-one instruction, we offer Private Classes in all subjects listed above, as well as additional topics upon request. Private sessions are fully customized to the student’s goals, schedule, and learning style. Due to the level of personalization, private classes are priced significantly higher than our group options.
